work visa on an Associates degree?

Hello all, I have been researching and have seen mixed information in regards to finding work with a 2/3 years degree completed or as some call it an - associates degree. My information is however out of date at being posted around 2005 and so on. When I say 2/3 years I am ofcourse referring to the United Kingdom and not American University system, as we don't do 4 years but instead 3 years instead to complete our Bachelors.
So is it possible to get a work visa with a associates degree or 2/3 years completed in a British University?
I appreciate your helpful suggestions and replies.

It does not matter how many years it took; as long as it is a bachelor's degree (at least) it will make you eligible, provided of course an employer in Japan is interested in your skills to hire you and to sponsor you for a visa.
