Hi,
We want to travel Kumano Kodo area, primarily by bus, mixed in with 2-3 hour walks. We are an "old" couple, and planning for early November. Main goal is leisurely trip through rural, scenic area.
We want to start in Shingu and end in Takijiri, Aware of Tanabe tourism website, very helpful. Any other websites that can help with lodging? Is Culture day (Nov 3) a big holiday? Many lodging options are booked.
In Takahara, I can only book "houses", lodge fully booked for entire week. Any other options?
All suggestions, thoughts welcomed and appreciated.
