Japanese Alps from Kyoto 2017/6/19 03:52
Did someone go to the Japanese Alps Itinerary from Kyoto, and could explain how it works? From where to where is the bus? Is it back and forth? Do we need to stay in Kanazawa?

What do you mean by "the Japanese Alps"? Nihon (Japan) Alps is consisted of three mountain ranges.

Most famous is the Northern Alps which includes Tateyama (Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route), Hodaka, Yarigatake, Kamikochi and Norikuradake.

You might mean Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

There are several ways to approach from Kyoto, but which is better depends on your entire itinerary: Is this your only long distance travel in Japan, going back to Kyoto? Or do you plan to go somewhere, like Tokyo for instance?
