How to get to Hakone Ropeway?

Hi, we plan to travel from Kawaguchiko to Hakone Ropeway by Fujikyu Bus via the Gotemba Station/Outlet. From there, we take the Odakyu Bus to Togendi Station. Can we accessed the Ropeway from the Togendi Station or must it be from the Souzsan Station? If it is, how do get to Sousan Station from Gotemba? What is the best route to take? Thank you
