Hi i will be visiting hokkaido on 2nd Oct to 11 Oct, any places you would suggest visiting, i have only thought on Otaru and Sapporo. Thanks for your help

Your time of visit is good for autumn foliage in some parts of Hokkaido. Ideally start the trip in Asahikawa with a side trip to scenic Sounkyo. Early Oct is the best time for koyo in that part of the Daisetsuzan National Park. After Sounkyo work yourself through Biei, Furano, Sapporo and Otaru. By mid Oct autumn colour can be enjoyed further south in Jozankei, Houheikyou Dam, Niseko, Shikotsu-ko, Noboribetsu and Toya-ko.
