What area in Tokyo to stay? 2017/7/16 04:55
i'm planning my first trip to japan. i will be in japan for a total of 15 days, 6 of them i will be spending in Tokyo (the other will be distributed between Kyoto Nagoya and Osaka). i am looking for hotel to stay in Tokyo.
I wish to get help regarding the area i should stay in.
i want an area close to train stations to travel across Tokyo. if possible i want to stay somewhere near some good first time in Japan attractions - good night life, beautiful gardens and temples, interesting places such as electric district or markets.

is there recommended area i should look into?
i'm just starting my research so attractions in the area will be welcomed as well.
thank you in advance!

There is no one are that has everything you want so pick a place that's most convenient, which would be someplace close to a "hub" station (where multiple train lines and/or subway lines make a stop). Some examples stations are: Ueno, Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shinjuku.

Tokyo is really easy to navigate. Have a look at what you want to stay nearest on the destination guide http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2164.html and look for hotels in that area near the Yamanote line http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2370.html
