Information on Totsui (Wakayama prefecture) 2017/7/19 05:23
Greetings all,

I am interested in the bridge in Totsui from a model-making perspective (the link below shows a Google satellite view). Does anyone know or have a way to find out if the bridge has lights that come on at night? I've seen various YouTube videos and photos but nothing that shows the bridge at night.

Thanks for any help!

In Japan, "Nielsen Lohse bridges" is not so rare, but just not so many.
Most Japanese do not know the official name of the bridge type.
˒È䋙` is also not famous place, only some amature fishermans knows.
Also that road is not a "National road", few traffic after dark.

No special designed "Toyota big bridge"?

By the way, what model are you using?
In Japan, the level of Railroad model (N gauge 1: 150, N = Nine) is the best in the world,
except for the building model as a business plan(for presentation).

This is not for Railroad model, but all made by high school students team as a competition.

To: Gana.B - I am most grateful for all the wonderful information!

I will be in Japan later this year and still plan to see the bridge at Totsui. The harbor and fishing village are also important to the diorama (N scale) and I will take many many pictures. I am only a beginner so I am not sure what material to use for the bridge model - but I will think about it and learn.

With the other information you provided, I will also go see the Nielsen Lohse bridges at Shinagawa and Kawasaki.

Thank you for your generous and excellent help!
