When will you travel?
Would someone else join the trips?

[Re: Question 1]

The transportation is explained in the following Japan Guide articles.
- Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

- How to travel between Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and Tokyo

: Check "Via Nagano" section.

Current timetables are available on the web.

[Re: Question 2]

It sounds hectic, even if it’s doable, to visit Kanazawa, Gokayama and Shirakawa-go just in one day.
What do you plan to do in Kanazawa City?

When you start from Toyama Station, it may be better
to go first to Kanazawa, stay overnight there,
go back for Toyama in the morning
either by Ishikawa Railway plus Ainokaze Toyama Railway (#1) to Takaoka Station
or by JR Hokuriku Shinkansen to Shin-Takaoka Station (#2) ,
head to Ainokura (before noon), to Suganuma then to Shirakawa-go by Kaetsuno Bus
and go to Takayama by highway bus in the evening.

#1
: The lines of these two local rail companies are jointed.
: Trains leaving Kanazawa Station for Toyama or Tomari make a stop at Takaoka Station.

#2
: Most Kagayaki trains skip Shin-Takaoka Station.
(The only eastbound Kagayaki train to make a stop there (= Kagayaki 536) departs too early for your trips.)
