In Nagoya for 48 hours what to do? 2017/7/28 18:43
I will be in Nagoya for the next couple days and, as a first-time visitor, I would like suggestions from a resident for things to do (sights, restaurants, nightlife, etc)

Thanks!

There are lots of places to visit: Nagoya Castle, Atsuta Shrine, the Tokugawa Museum and garden, Nagoya Aquarium, the MAGLEV Railway Museum and Sakae is where more of the nightlife is. The Boston Museum is also good, although it depends on the exhibit.

There are fireworks in the evenings. Tonight Gifu City has fireworks along the Nagaragawa River below the castle.

There's plenty to keep you busy in Nagoya for 2 days. This might give you a few ideas:

Details on specific attractions, including transportation etc., are available right here on Japan Guide:

Cheers.

If you never have been in Kyoto and wont come back to Japan anytime soon a quick 2 day trip to Kyoto might be worth thinking about.
