where "XXX" is the name of the beach.
If you want to be more formal
XXXというビーチへいきました。
and even more formal, but I think it would sound somewhat strange for a beach and probably with the rest of your Japanese capabilities:
XXXというビーチへまいりました。
Enjoy your day on the beach!
