Transportation from Iiyama to Yudanaka

My family (4x) plan to go Japan in Dec this year, plan to go Shiga Kogen for ski, will stay in Bozanso near Yudanaka station, plan to take Hokuriku shinkansen to Iiyama. Please advise transport available from Iiyama to Yudanaka station beside continue the shinkansen to Nagano? Thank you.

I am not familiar with this area but according to NAVITIME, there are no direct transport from Yudanaka to Iiyama. https://goo.gl/inwy7UIn general you must get a Nagaden train to Shinshu-Nakano and then take a bus. There seems to be several routes (by bus, bus and JR train) but it might depends on the specific date and time. I guess you will travel in winter so it is too early to decide the route. It will take 70 to 120 min and cost around 1100 yen.
