Dog Friendly Hiking in Tokyo Area

Hello. I want to go hiking somewhere with my dog in the Tokyo Area. I have been looking online but cannot find anything. I read that Mount Mitake might allow dogs but I am not sure how to check. Is there anyone who knows a good place to bring my dog hiking? Thank you.

As far as I can look up, yes, Mt. Mitake (Mitake-san) should be fine with your dog. You can even ride the cable car with your dog. There is a shrine at the top where you can have blessings for good health of your pets as well. There is a nice hiking course along the river to "Rock Garden," but there are steep stairs involved there that I don't know if that is suited for a hike with a dog, though.
