Onsen Around Kyoto 2017/9/19 16:57
Hi

I have planned my trip as such,

7 Nov Kyoto
8 Nov Kyoto
9 Nov Onsen
10 Nov Kyoto

So I'm looking for nice onsen in Kansai region or somewhere within 1-2 hrs away from Kyoto. Spend a night before going back to Kyoto.

Currently my research only found Kinosaki onsen and Arima onsen.
I have been to Kinosaki, and while the town is pretty neat, I find the bath is a little lacking.
As fo Arima onsen, I imagine that it would be like Noboribetsu with big hot spring hotels minus the hell valley?

Do you have some recommendations? kindly mention it. I will do research on them thanks=D

P.s Its around Koyo period (Autumn viewing), so it'd be nice if the place has nice Autumn sceneries. ;P

Yuno hana Onsen in Kameoka city kyoto is an easy access from Kyoto for 60 -90 mins. The most of Onse hotel organize a free shuttle bus from the station.

Amano-hashidate is a beautiful Onsen spot for 3 hours from Kyoto.

Sumoto or Uzushio(the quority of onsen water? is the best!) in Awajishima(Awaji island) in Hyogo, and Dorogawa in Nara.

It's up to when you travel as Dorogawa is located(sorrounded by) in mountains.
