Flights from Tokyo to Okinawa 2007/12/21 13:23
Hi there, I'm going to visit my friend in Okinawa. The only plane flight cheap I could find was from Australia to Tokyo. I have to find my own way from Tokyo to Okinawa. How much will this cost and how do I book it? and any general knowledge that will help me out. Thanks

Did you already check this side?

Try to get a fare what includes one domestic ( = inner Japan ) return flight.

Discount Airlines 2007/12/22 06:49
Try Skymark

With a 49 day advanced booking, flights are as low as 10,000 yen. Of course, you will have to fly out of Haneda, which requires traveling by train or bus from Narita.

ANA has one flight per day to and from Okinawa from Narita. You might be able to get a 13,000 yen fare, since you're flying in from Australia.

japan air pass 2007/12/22 10:30
check out the japan air pass. you can only purchase it in australia before you leave, but i found it much cheaper to use this pass when i flew to okinawa. depending on which airline you are flying to japan with will depend on which pass you are eligible for. they are sold per flight (you can purchase as many flights as you want to) and you can use it for any destination within japan. have a look at http://www.traveljapan.com.au/jal-pass.html, or also jalpack website. hope it helps.
