Bullet train fare from Tokyo to Osaka

I am a little confused. How much does it cost to take bullet train (hikari or nozomi) from Tokyo to Osaka. Is it approx. 19,000 yen or 13,000 yen?

enter Tokyo as for your departing station and Shinosaka for your destination as that is the closest shinkansen station.

Tokyo-Shin-Osaka is
yen 14050 by Nozomi (2 hrs 37 min.maximum)
yen 13750 by Hikari (3 hrs)

for Osaka you need to add to both above fares the fare of yen 160 to go from Shin-Osaka to Osaka by the JR Kyoto line . it takes 4 minutes plus the change of trains at Shin-Osaka
