I am planning to visit Oshima island but i can fine any access information in English..
i understude that there are 2 kinds of ferries:
1. fast (1hour) 60USD
2. slow (6 hours) 35USD
is that correct?
where can i find schedule?

another thing, what can i do over there in one day?

I assume you intend to travel between Tokyo and Oshima in the Izu Island Group.

Here is the official website:

Yes, it is correct that there is a slow car ferry (overnight from Tokyo, daytime from Oshima) and fast jetfoil boats.

Like airlines, the ferry companies have introduced fuel surcharges, so the fares have been fluctuating recently. For September 2008, the one way fare between Tokyo and Oshima is 5070 yen for the cheapest class on the slow ferry and 8250 yen for the jetfoil.
