Fuji - Shinjuku bus reservation 2009/6/4
Fujigoko
In July me and my brother want to climb Mount Fuji in the middle of our Japan trip. The most easy way to get there is taking the bus from Shinjuku. However, this is the only bus where you have to make reservations for the seats. I already found a website, but it's completely in Japanese.

How can I make a reservation for the bus if I don't speak Japanese? Does anyone have experience with this?

On weekdays, it is unlikely that the bus will be booked out, and you will be able to make seat reservations just before departure on the day of travel.

For travel on weekends, I recommend to make reservations at the bus terminal, by phone or at convenience stores for peace of mind. The phone number is 03-5376-2222.

In the worst case, you can take buses with a transfer at Kawaguchiko Station.
