I hope I got the name right. Unfortunately, I'm in no position to actually visit Japan myself, and particularly Shimagahara, at this time of year. I haven't seen much come back in the way of Google results for this temple, either, so to anyone who has visited, what can one generally expect? Also... is Shimagahara a tourist-friendly destination for people fond of contemporary Japan, or is it better described as a village that's quiet, and a little tucked away? Just curious. Pardon my ignorance, and thank you very much for the help!
