I collect dolls and would like to find a nice kokeshi as a souvenir. Where is the best place to find kokeshi in or around Sendai? Old or new. by Lyrajean (guest)   Kokeshi in Sendai, not so hard to find 2009/7/17 Hi, I visited Sendai last year and I found out kokeshi are not so hard to find there. Just in the main shopping streets several ('tourist/souvenir') shops have really beautiful kokeshi. Even the big ones, with amazing woodwork. Vintage, I did not find. And do visit the kokeshi museum in the neighbouthood! In the village there, are lots of kokeshi to find as well! More than you can carry! :) by Otomodachi (guest) rate this post as useful
