Kushiro river - kajaking 2009/6/11 Kushiro Hello to Everybody, I would like to kajak in Kushiro-Shitsugen N.P. in Hokkaido. Does anybody have any suggestion where to start my rafting? Is the river attractive on her whole course or is better to launch somewhere lower? Is it navigable from Lake Kussharo or only within the National Park? I know that some travel companies offer 3-5 hours rafting within the park, but it cost enormously. Instead, I have simply pneumatic kajak and hope the river is easy enough to enjoy it for a few days (?) I will be very grateful for any informations on the river. Mariusz by Mariusz (guest)
