Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! Confused about which guest house to use. 2009/6/12 Tokyo 23-ku I need an apartment for 5 weeks near shinjuku. I've found a few different companies like sakura house, fontana, ichii, takumi, etc. What I wanna know is - from people who've stayed there - what's good, what's bad about these? Little info about me : Staying for 5 weeks. Need something furnished. Need something no further then 40 minute train ride from shinjuku. Looking for something less than 140,000 TOTAL ( counting utilities, internet, cleaning fees, insurance fees and whatever else these companies charge ). Preferably clean ( hate bugs ). Speak very little japanese so need a company that's hospitable to foreigners and doesn't scam them. They all said that not only house it self but also people living there are also very nice! I don't know the details, but they say most of other guesthouses are dirty... by KAZY (guest) rate this post as useful ... 2009/6/16 I think this might be out of your price range but thought I'd share it anyway. http://www.tokyoapartment.mwerk.org/ It's a private (not shared) furnished apartment about 2kms from Shinjuku, or a couple of train stations away.
