Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! Sapporo - Otaru 1 day pass 2009/6/26 Otaru Hi Uji, Can I check is it worth buying the Sapporo - Otaru 1 day pass? I will be visiting the music box and places around it therefore do not know if it is necessary to buy Thanks by kastine (guest)   Not for just RT to Otaru 2009/6/27 The Y1500 pass is good only for unreserved seats but with unlimited JR travel between Sapporo and Otaru and on Sapporo subways. If you aren't using any subways, the RT fare to Otaru is Y1240. If you stop somewhere between to look at the sea or something between Sapporo and Otaru, it will pay for itself as the fares will increase (more tickets). If you are going to take a couple of subway rides in Sapporo, it will pay for itself. It won't do you any good if you're just going to Otaru and back that day. by anaguma (guest) rate this post as useful
