Kansai airport to Kyoto with JR pass? 2009/7/9 Kyoto City Hi, I read that you can get from Kansai Airport to Kyoto with a JR West pass (Haruka Limited Express). I will have a JR pass and I understand JR West is part of JR. Does it mean I can use my JR pass from Kansai Airport to Kyoto? by anastasia7   Yes 2009/7/9 JR West is a part of the JR Railways Group, so the JR Rail Pass will work while in the Kansai area on almost all JR trains, just not the Nozomi Shinkansen.
