Walking to Kawaguchiko 5th Station 2009/7/13 Fujigoko Will be in Tokyo in November so a bit late for me to Climb Fuji. I wonder if there is any point in walking from Kawaguchiko Station to Kawaguchiko 5th Station in November. What type of walk is it ? What distance is involved and over what type of ground ? Is there a view from Kawaguchiko 5th Station ? Any information appreciated. Thanks by oscail (guest)   Walking to Kawaguchiko 5th Station 2009/8/12 That's quite a walk! It's about 30 - 40 minutes in the car. The road itself tarmaced, wide and farily windy all the way up to the 5th station. The road starts about 850 metres above sea level to 2300 metres at the 5th station).
