Night at Tsumago 2009/7/16
Kiso Valley
I'm thinking the following:

When arriving Magome (from Nakatsugawa Station, by bus)visit the village, and take the hiking trail to Tsumago. Spend the night at Tsumago.
Next day catch the bus to Nagiso station and then continue the trip.

My question is:
Are this ryokans close enough to walk from the hiking trail and/or Tsumago bus stop?
http://www.japaneseguesthouses.com/db/tsumago/hanaya.ht...

http://www.japaneseguesthouses.com/db/tsumago/shimosaga...

They talk about 10min taxiride from Nagiso, but not from Tsumago.

Is there anywhere i can find cheaper options to spend the nightin Tsumago or even Magome?

Thanks!

Tsumago is a 10 minute bus or taxi ride from the nearest train station, Nagiso Station!

The Shimosagaya is in the center of town, but the Hanaya is located outside of the town.

Hello. Actually i'm also going in november. I askeda friend who speaks japanese to browse other ryokans in Tsumago. But didn't got reply yet. Otherwise i will spend the night at the only ryokan available at Japanese guest houses, in Tsumago.
Let me know if you find other places. Thanks!
