Thank you! 3rd November in Tokyo 2009/7/19 Hello, I'll be in Tokyo on 3rd November, which I believe is Culture Day (national holiday). Can anyone tell me what happens in Tokyo on that day. Are there any fireworks for example? Also, will the shops, like department stores, be open? Just not sure what to plan on doing that day! Thank you, B by Belma (guest)   Events 2009/7/20 There is no big special event for the Culture Day. The day is for the day to have a chance to feel the culture (art, music,etc...). Therefore, there will be a small events at museums. Of course, department stores open as usual.
