Thank you! summer time temperature in takayama area 2009/7/24 Takayama I am going to travel to Unatsuki Onsen/Takayama/Shiragawago area shortly. Is it as hot as Tokyo area in this time of the year? I need this information to pack my cloth. Thanks Yim Seoul by Dongil Yim (guest)   ... 2009/7/25 It is a little bit cooler, but temperatures also oten reach and exceed 30 degrees. During the nights, the temperature drops more than it does in Tokyo. Not sure where Unatsuki Onsen is located, but in higher altitudes, the temperature naturally drops even more. by Uji rate this post as useful Takayama and Unatsuki Onsen 2009/8/10 Unatsuki Onsen is cooler and more humid compare with Takayama because of its geographic reason. But you will be fine with short sleeve or no sleeve shirts even at night time. In Takayama, we have much cooler summer than last year.
