Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! See Miyajima Shrine after sunset 2009/7/30 Miyajima I have seen many photos of that Torii lit in the dark. I am wondering whether after the closing how can people see that (the shrine closes at 17:30). In summer 17:30 is very much day time. Do they lock the door after 17:30 or they just stop charging people, most likely locals?
