Odakyu has a 2 day package in Hakone Lake. Is it worth going? I want to experience the outskirt lifestyle and view Mt Fuji. by gunnss   View 2009/8/1 Is it worth it is really up to you but do go to Hakone expecting to see Mt Fuji. You can only see it on clear days but you may get lucky. by ryokans rate this post as useful ... 2009/8/1 As mentioned, it is a personal decision to make. It is especially difficult to help you without knowing the context of your itinerary. But generally speaking, many people do enjoy their stay in Hakone. As for Mount Fuji, I personally have been to Hakone about 11 times. And only on about 3 of these 11 trips visibility was good enough for me to see Mount Fuji. by Uji rate this post as useful
