Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! temple stamps 2009/8/1 I read that every temple/shrine has 'stamps' that visitors can collect. I plan to bring along a journal to be stamped in at every temple I visit. Can anyone verify if this is true? And if so, whom do I ask for these 'stamps'? The schoolkids collect 'attraction' stamps at tourist sites and railroad stations. At the temples, a priest will stamp and write in your special temple book. You can buy the book at the 1st temple.
