Help with Shinkansen trip(expensive) 2009/8/4 Hi, My family is coming to Japan in October and we will go on a trip around Japan. My family will be purchasing the JR RAIL PASS but unfortunatley I cannot avail of this option. I have a working visa. We plan to go from Tokyo to Nagoya, then Osaka, then Hiroshima, then Fukuoka and finaly return to Tokyo. This is going to cost me a fortune. Does anyone know of any special tickets I can make use of. This trip will last 1 week.
