Hakone and Kamakura from Tokyo

Anybody have any good recommendations on how to get to Hakone from Kamakura (or reverse), without going back to Tokyo? It seems as though all the passes originate in Tokyo.
Also, if visiting both Hakone and Kamakura (and possibly hiking up Mt. Fuji another day), does anybody have a suggested order of those places?
I'm arranging a 3-4 day side trip from Tokyo and would like to do a loop.
Thanks!
Rob

Kamakura - (JR Yokosuka Line) - Ofuna - (JR Tokaido Line) - Odawara at the entrance of Hakone

Kamakura - (train) - Hakone - (bus via Gotemba) - Fuji 5th Station (Gotemba, Subashiri or Kawaguchiko) - climbing Mount Fuji - Kawaguchiko 5th Station - (bus) - Tokyo

Loop around Tokyo

Most train lines go in and out of Tokyo, so often that is the fastest way to go, even if it looks closer to go in a loop. Trying to loop will also mean lots of train changes and short journeys. In and out of Tokyo is often the way to do it.
Include some walking/hiking at Takao san - its beautiful, but avoid weekends - too busy
