Fujigoko
Can anybody help me to find out the bus schedule from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiku and also all the buses around 5 lakes of Mt.Fuji? I am planning to go there for 2 days but before that I have to become sure about the time tables otherwise I can't arrange it!since I want to visit that area as much as I can!
I got this site but it's not working:http://www.fujikyu.co.jp/bus/highway/fuji5/time/d-time7...
any suggestions for ryokans around Hakone and Kawaguchiku?

Buses between Shinjuku and Kawaguchiko operate frequently (every 30-60 minutes). On busy days, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. Here is the timetable in Japanese:

Which other bus lines in the Fuji Five Lake region are you interested in?

Then I recommend to have your base in Kawaguchiko and use the local buses or a rental car to get around. Fuji Q Highland is close by. And most attractions can be reached relatively easily by bus. Some general introduction on what to see and how to get around:

Retro bus to travel around Kawaguchiko 2009/8/13
Hi,

U may wish travel on the retro bus to move around Kawaguchiko.. I use the retro bus to get to quite a few places including the music forest which was quite nice and beautiful and the natural living centre has a very nice views of Mt fuji on a clear day...

Though not exactly a ryokan.. u may wish to consider to stay @ K house mt fuji @ Kawaguchiko... It is really cheap, clean and cosy... Their staff are very helpful too !!!
