Kyoto after Mt Fuji Climb? 2009/8/18 Hi Guys Will i be able to climb Fuji and once we come down to catch a train to kyoto immediately from the fuji area...? been trying to find some stuff on it on the net but not been too lucky... pls help by RanJay (guest)   ... 2009/8/18 Will i be able to climb Fuji and once we come down to catch a train to kyoto immediately from the fuji area...? Depends on when and where you come down exactly. The best way would be hiking down the Fujinomiya trail to Fujinomiya 5th Station and take a bus to Shin-Fuji Station, from where you can catch the Tokaido Shinkansen to Kyoto. by Uji rate this post as useful Kawaguchiko bus goes there too 2009/8/22 If you climb the Kawaguchiko trail, you can take a local bus from Kawaguchiko station directly to Shin-Fuji also, and then take the Shinkansen directly to Kyoto (2.5 hours). by fujigirl (guest) rate this post as useful
