Can you ski Niseko from Dec 5 - Dec 11 2009/8/19 Niseko I have booked a trip to Japan from the start of Dec for 2 weeks. Does anyone know if any of the lifts are open from Dec 5? I am getting mixed reports from the resorts and most forums are saying it might be okay. I would prefer not to change my flights but obviously dont want to waste money on booking a ski package if there is no lifts operating & you cant ski down the mountain. I'm open to going to another area of Japan to ski if there is better snow around that time but its seems like Hokkaido gets the coldest & has the longest seasons.
