Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! Weekend budget? 2009/8/28 Fujigoko I'm flying to Shizuoka Airport this weekend and heading straight to Mt. Fuji to hike up. I'm wondering how much in Yen I might need for the weekend. I am only staying one night and then heading back to the airport. Taxis and food only I think. Can anyone help? Thanks by brianpete (guest)   ... 2009/8/28 If you are staying over in any hotel/ryokan, that would need to be taken into consideration; also the way from the airport to the mountain - bus? train? taxi all the way? Too many unknowns to give you any number :( by AK rate this post as useful ... 2009/8/29 Despite named "Mount Fuji Shizuoka Airport", the airport is actually surprisingly far away from Mount Fuji, and access is time-consuming and expensive.
