Ryokan/ Hotel in Hokkaido 2009/8/31 Hokkaido Hi all, i know that JapanICan offers a variety of hotels for us to choose from. There are so many choices and I do not know which one to pick. Wondering anyone can give any suggestion for the below places in Hokkaido. Budget is within 16,000 yen for 2 person. 1) Asahikawa 2) Sapporo 3) Otaru 4) Furano 5) Noboribetsu 6) Hakodate Thank you very much in advance. by Durian (guest)   ... 2009/8/31 Asahikawa has only business hotels. The Washington Hotel in front of the station is convenient. In Otaru, the Grand Park Otaru (formerly Hilton) is most popular. In Noboribetsu, the Takimotokan has the longest history and nicest baths: http://www.takimotokan.co.jp/english/index.html In Hakodate, I think there are only business hotels around the station with the ANA Hotel among the more comfortable.
