Mount Fuji views during Equinox 2009/9/4 I'll be spending the Equinox week (September 19-26) around Izu (West), Hakone, Kawaguchiko and Shizuoka (Shimizu, Miho). Does anyone know the best time to get a view of Mount Fuji? After googling some say early in the morning around 6am; some others say around 8-9am; and some other say around 4pm. Has anyone a clue? Thanks, Fito by Fito (guest)   depends on the weather 2009/9/4 Any time of the day is good, if the weather is fine and clear. If it's cloudy, it won't matter what time of the day you go, it could be (and often is) completely invisible due to cloud cover. The clouds tend to build up around the mountain as the day goes on, so morning is probably your better bet, although the sunset view can be nice too. by Sira (guest) rate this post as useful ... 2009/9/5 The best visibility is usually between sunrise and 9-10am.
