Arashiyama 2009/9/8 Kyoto City We have walked the bamboo groves around Honen-in temple on the Path of Philosophy, and all the major temples/shrines etc in Kyoto, in spring, but have not been to Arashiyama. For koyo in particular is Arashiyama worth it, as we also have some favourite places we wish to return to in Kyoto in autumn. I don't think we would have time for the river rapids, and we don't really need to see monkeys ....
