Thank you! japanese ferry information? 2009/9/13 I'd like to register to take the ferry from sendai to tomakomai on the 18th of this month (september). I would also like to take the ferry from tomakomai to oarai on the 23rd. I'm having trouble finding some basic information: 1. Where is the ferry terminal located in those cities. 2. What are the times of departures and arrivals. 3. What is the fee for 1st class. 4. Are seats available, and do I need to reserve. There appears to be a ferry site here http://www.fune.co.jp/, but I don't read Japanese well enough to navigate it. Can anyone give me details or links to departure arrival info etc? Also, does 1st class usually fill up? There seems to be some confusion from the first response. I am taking both routes. sendai to tomakomai (depart on sept 18th) tomakomai to orai (depart on sept 23rd) So it looks like there are separate websites for those two routes? I guess my one remaining question is how fast the reservations fill up, especially for first class I'm going to try calling them, but my Japanese isn't that great, so I'm wondering if I can just show up on the 18th and 23rd and there will be space available. by catphive rate this post as useful ... 2009/9/18 I see.
