Thank you! from tokyo to mt fuji 2009/9/16 Fujigoko hi, i will be coming from tokyo takeing jr to odawara and going to hakone lake asi then to gotemba outlet mall then i would like to visit fuji five lakes and 5th station of mt fuji. So how should i plan my route and what transportation pass should i buy? i was thinking of getting the fuji hakone pass and would the pass get me to the five lakes? thanks!! by amanda (guest)   have to pay for bus 2009/9/17 I believe the Hakone free pass will get you to Gotemba, but you have to pay for the bus from there to Kawaguchiko. Also, there are fewer buses to 5th Station now that climbing season is over, so plan accordingly. http://www.city.fujiyoshida.yamanashi.jp/div/english/html/climbing_bus... there are 5 buses a day (the middle schedule). by aya (guest) rate this post as useful ... 2009/9/19 Yes, the Fuji Hakone Pass (not Hakone Free Pass) would be the ideal pass for you.
