q.1 : You must reserve a seat for N'EX at the time of purchase. The seat must be reserved in a N'EX Ordinary or Green (First) car.

It depends on which Narita Express, not all Narita Express go to Yokohama, so check the schedule.

Some are direct trains (no transfers).

If there is no direct train, then you need to transfer once. Usually at Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station to the Tokaido Line.

NEX 2009/9/17
Q1 All seats are reserved.
Q2
I recognize the train is going to be separated into two at Tokyo station. ex. 6cars goes to Ikebukuro direction and the rest to Yokohama.

There is an article about NEX & Suica in my blog :)

RE: buy Suica&NEx to Yokohama . 2009/9/18
As far as I know, Narita Express trains use Yokosuka Line platforms in Tokyo, Shinagawa and Yokohama Stations.
When a transfer is needed, a case may be where the earliest Yokosuka Line train you can take for Yokohama departs from a neighboring platform, I presume.

You can use the ticket in the Suica & N'EX package to Yokohama, but the ticket is a one-day ticket and does not allow a stopover or truing back.

The credit on Suica and the deposit for Suica (500 yen) will expire in 10 years after the last use, as far as my search is concerned,

Jon,

can i use Suica&NEx on subways ?(tokyo metro line, toei line)

Yes. The Suica card you get as part of the Suica & NEX package can be used on JR East, Tokyo Metro, Toei, and other private lines in the Greater Tokyo area.

You can use the SUICA card anywhere you see it says PASMO.

PASMO is used on virtually all subways, private lines, and buses in the Tokyo Metro area.

SUICA - PASMO = OK
