Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! Send emails to KDDI's au cellphone 2009/9/17 Hi guys, I just arrived in Japan and finally got a cell phone yesterday. It's a Softbank 830P. I successfully sent emails to other cell phones who are under Softbank, DoCoMo and Vodafone. However, whenever I tried to send an email to KDDI's au phone (emails with ending of ezweb.ne.jp), it couldn't go through and the error message said that it can't be sent to this recipient. However, if a person who uses au cell phone emails me first, then I can successfully email that person back. But for people who haven't emailed me, I can't email them either. Do you have any idea why this is happening? I would have tried to call the service center if my Japanese was better :( Thank you! by rookies (guest)   block 2009/9/17 those people might have set their phones to block you. i think recently AU started automatically configuring their phones to block non cell phone addresses too, because recently a lot of people aren't getting emails from my pc address but when i send it from my own keitai they receive it.. not sure about that though. tell them to unblock your address. by winterwolf (guest) rate this post as useful ... 2009/9/17 I think that AU's default setting is that the phone blocks all e-mails from addresses not registered on that phone's address book or otherwise actively OK'd. So you need to inform the recipient of your e-mail address in some way other than that e-mail, and have that person register your address on their address book.
