Bus from Hirosaki to lake Towada 2009/9/17 Hirosaki I am planning a trip to Hirsoaki and would also like to visit lake Towada and the Oirase stream. Does anyone know if there is a bus connection between Hirosaki and one of the towns surrounding the lake or maybe to Towada City ( I assume I would be able to catch a bus from there)? I have only been able to find busses with transfer in Aomori. I would be very grateful for any advice. by Liddy (guest)   Bus to Towada 2009/9/18 Hi Liddy, We did a similar trip last May, and was advised by the people in Hirosaki JR station that there was no connecting bus to Towada .We had to catch a JR Bus from Aomori. Outside winter months there are also bus from Morioka and JR Towada Minamai Station, but not Hirosaki. by William5 rate this post as useful Thanks 2009/9/19 Thanks your replies, now at least I know I couldn't find anything because I wasn't looking hard enough. I was planning on going in early October since I heard that most busses stop running by November and it's supposed to get very chilly. Also I'm hoping to catch the leaf-colouring which I might be a little late for since it's already starting to change in Tokyo.
