Alpen route late October 2009/9/18 Toyama City Hi Everyone, we are plannin gto do the Alpen route in the last week of October, do anyone knows the wheater conditions at that time? We have a reservation in the Tatayama Murodo Sanso Hotel, Has anyone spent the night there? How is it? by MarHof   Early winter 2009/9/18 Hi! I was there during this same period of time last year and stayed at Murodo Sanso too! So nostalgic. Haha. The snow at Murodo is to knee level. How many nights will you be staying? The rooms are normal, with futons and heater. They speak English. You can borrow winter boots from them. Can see snow-capped mountains if weather is clear. Was there for a night. I think I had fried chicken pieces (karage), rice, spring roll and other pickles, with miso soup, of course. by yummymomo rate this post as useful
