Does anyone know if the Nara Deer Park is closed between Dec 29 2009 and Jan 1 2010?

The deer park never closes. It's a public space.
Many of the surrounding sites are also open. Kofukuji, Todaiji, and Kasuga Shrine are open year round.
The Nara National Museum is closed on January 1.
