Hakone Free Pass 2009/10/1 Hakone Hi Can I confirm that should i purchase a Hakone Free Pass @ the Shinjuku station, it will take me to Odawara station, then to Hakone-Yumoto station at no extra cost? I dont really understand this Romance Car thing. Thanks by Stephenie (guest)   Check this 2009/10/1 http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_008.html has a colour coded map of available services. The Romance Car trains are simply a better class of train and that is why there is a surcharge. http://www.odakyu.jp/english/rc/index.html fish around in there and it will show you the Romance Car timetable...this is it :- http://www.odakyu.jp/english/rc/rc_timetable_a01.html You will get the other train times from http://www.hyperdia.com/cgi-english/hyperWeb.cgi Just make sure that you only look at the results that show Odakyu Rwy only and if you want to avoid the surcharge for the Romance Car then avoid the "Odakyu Ltd Ex Hakone" trains. by RodW rate this post as useful
