Day Trip to Snow Report from Takayama 2009/10/4 Takayama Hi Friends, I will be staying 3 nights in Takayama, I'd like to go for a day trip to a snow resort. (guest) rate this post as useful ... 2009/10/4 The easiest to access by public transportation is Hirayu Onsen, but it has only two lifts. You can get there by bus from Takayama in an hour: http://www.hirayunomori.com/ Dynaland is one of the largest resorts in Gifu, but I cannot find an easy way of access by public transportation. By car, it can be reached in about one hour from Takayama: http://www.dynaland.co.jp/ The closest is the Hida Takayama ski resort, but it has only lifts. It is a 50 minute drive from central Takayama, but I don't think there is public transportation: http://www.hida.jp/takayama-ski/ by Uji rate this post as useful
