I would like to see the mountain when the autumn colors are at their peak. I read that October is a great month and was wondering which week in October would be the best. Thanks in advance for your help. by Asa Sun (guest)   ... 2009/10/5 The colors in the higher elevations of Tateyama are now at their best (or possibly declining already). There is a chance of first snow in the next few days (if it has not snowed already). On lower elevations along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route, autumn colors should be visible through most of October. by Uji rate this post as useful
