Kimono in January 2009/10/13 Hi, I'll be visiting Japan from Dec. 22 until Jan 14th and I was considering renting a kimono. It seems that there are a few different kinds of places, ones that will let you walk around in them, ones where you just have a photoshoot, and ones where you also do tea ceremony. My question is if I was wandering around in Kyoto in January in a kimono would I be freezing the whole time? And what about in Sendai on New Years? Oh, and does it cost a lot more to rent a kimono on New Years? by Aiowyn
